The store has a variety of both men's and women's clothing. BCF also carries baby items and clothes, shoes, décor items, perfumes and colognes, and other little crap that no one would ever buy.
I went to BCF looking for some slacks, a shirt and tie. There was quite a variety of slacks and shirts in the men's department. I tried on quite a few slacks and found a pair that fit. The dressing room was OK. The only thing I didn't like is that the security room is located right in the dressing room area.
There was a security guard scanning the store using video cameras. I think that it would have been a better idea to have the security detail contained within an office and not in the dressing room area.
After trying on the slacks I found that they were a bit long. This problem was solved through the use of the store tailor. The store tailor is a great asset. He took care of the pants and they were promptly available the following day at noon. I next looked for a shirt and found one in my size.
There was also another shirt but could not find it in my size, so as usual a hit or miss situation for style and size. The thing I thought was easiest to find turned out to be the most difficult. I am referring to finding a plain black tie. BCF has quite a variety of ties in all sorts of colors nobody would buy. The only black tie I could find had patterns on it. All I wanted was a plain black tie and I could not find it.
Feeling bummed about the tie I decided to look for a checkout. I saw three registers open and picked one. I was in line for at least 25 minutes and none of the lines moved during that time. I couldn't believe it. It should not take this long just to buy three slacks and a shirt.
There were two people ahead of me and the first one was there for 15 minutes just trying to buy some children's clothes. All in all, if I do return to BCF I know that it will take a great deal of time to check-out and that may be alright for some people but we feel it isn't an acceptable time for a recommended Perspective Store.
Pros: Large variety of men's clothing and it's cheap designer clothes.
Cons: Long waiting times at checkout.
